How We Place Veneers

Once you and your North Hill dentist have decided that veneers are the right choice for you, we will firstly make impressions of your mouth and measure the shade of your teeth so we can match the colour of your new veneer to your natural tooth colour.
Once your custom made veneer is ready we will schedule you for an appointment where we remove a thin layer of enamel before bonding them onto your teeth.

How do I know if veneers are right for me?
Veneers are generally a great solution for people who have cracked, discoloured or otherwise damaged teeth, but there can be exceptions. If you have any untreated or undiagnosed gum disease, tooth decay, acid erosion or you grind your teeth, you may not be suited for veneers. If this is the case, your dentist will discuss other restorative options.

Generally speaking, having veneers put in place is simple and painless. On rare occasions, some people experience mild sensitivity during the treatment, or for a few days after. Any discomfort you experience can be easily treated with ibuprofen or paracetamol, but normally the pain goes away on its own.
